Egyptian Papyrus
Making of paper from papyrus plant was developed in ancient Egypt centuries ago, as early as 4000 BC. Papyrus was in use until it was replaced by pulp paper of Arabs. The process was later revived in 1969 and is being made again in Egypt. It is now mostly used in decorative art. These are paintings on papyrus, done by Egyptian artists.
